Additional Information

This single-jointed bit is narrower than many conventional bits (12 mm). As the horse's mouth is completely filled by the tongue muscle, there is hardly any room for a bit when the mouth is closed. This is why narrower bits are more comfortable for the horse to wear, as they take up less space in the mouth. For this reason, the joint is also very narrow and gently rounded.

The olive head shape of the bit rings gives the bit a more stable position, especially when the reins are applied sideways. It also prevents skin from becoming trapped between the bit ring and the mouthpiece.

The bit is carefully crafted and made of a nickel-free copper alloy. This stimulates the production of saliva in the mouth and thus the horse's chewing activity.

The unique ornamentation is reminiscent of the ancient Icelandic culture and gives the teeth a special elegance.

The engraved L on the left bit ring helps to buckle the bit correctly into the bridle. When the horse is bridled, it should be visible on the bottom left of the bit.

This bit complies with FEIF rules and meets international standards. It can therefore be used in sport and breeding competitions.
