The Hrímnir Training Full Cheek Bit is an ideal addition to your training equipment. It can help horses that have difficulty bending or have problems understanding sideways rein aids. It is also suitable for working with young or less trained horses. This bridle is also a gentle option for the daily training of any horse.

The bit combines the advantages of longer cheek pieces, the olive head shape of the bit rings and the innovative design of our double-jointed mouthpiece. The cheek pieces are 16.5 centimeters long. They act laterally on the horse's mouth and cheeks and prevent the bit from being pulled through the horse's mouth. The rein pressure is distributed over a larger area and the horse can therefore respond better and more easily to bending or turning aids.

The olive head shape of the bit rings provides additional comfort and more stability in the horse's mouth and prevents skin from getting caught between the mouthpiece and the bit ring. The double-jointed mouthpiece has the same innovative design as our other double-jointed Hrímnir bits, which were developed for the well-being of the horse. The mouthpiece in our bits is turned 30° forward so that the middle piece can lie flat on the tongue when riding and is more comfortable for the horse. The rotation means that the joints of the middle piece do not press into the palate. The middle piece is rather short compared to conventional bits so that it can lie better on the tongue and cannot slip into the corners of the mouth when the reins are applied on one side.

The Hrímnir training full bit snaffle is carefully crafted and made of robust, rust-proof stainless steel, which does not affect the horse's saliva production. A full bit snaffle works in the horse's mouth like a normal snaffle. In addition, the cheek pieces support safe and finer rein control. This full bit snaffle is ideal for young horses or those who have difficulty understanding the sideways rein aids. Horses respond better to bending and stretching exercises both when working from the ground and when riding.

The bit is of high quality. The unique and elegant decoration is based on old Viking patterns. The engraved L stands for "Left and Low" and should be on the lower left side of the horse's mouth. The thickness of the bit is 14 mm. Available in sizes 10.0 cm, 10.5 cm, 11.0 cm and 11.5 cm.

This bit conforms to FEIF rules and meets international standards. It can therefore be used in sport and breeding competitions (only in combination with English nosebands ).
