Saltverk Salt Arctic Thyme from Iceland is a mixture of small salt flakes with wild Icelandic thyme. The floral aroma of Arctic thyme, which prefers to grow on gravel soils and dry heathland, is reminiscent of the scent of summer rain in Iceland's wild nature. The salt for this blend is extracted manually and is a pure natural product that contains the minerals of the Nordic Arctic Ocean.

Saltverk is a young company based in the western part of Iceland. It is located on the Reykjanes peninsula, which separates two fjords and is surrounded by high mountains. Here, salt is produced using traditional, hand-crafted methods that are over 200 years old.
