The new, unique design of this saddle pad offers the horse more freedom of movement than conventional saddle pads. The memory foam padding is shorter than in conventional saddle pads and is only located under the main contact surface of the saddle. This relieves pressure on the shoulder and lumbar region and allows the horse to bend more easily. Poorly fitting saddles or saddles with poor balance can often be made a little more comfortable for the horse by changing the main contact surface of the saddle.

The padding made of viscoelastic memory foam offers maximum shock absorption and optimal pressure distribution. The foam, developed by NASA for space travel, gives way when pressure is applied but then always returns to its original shape. When riding, it evens out small bumps in the saddle and horse and can therefore improve the fit of the saddle.

The particularly soft underside of the saddle pad is breathable and sweat-absorbent and very comfortable for the horse. The top side is robust and durable.

Velcro fasteners on the front of the saddle pad and for the girth keep the pad in the correct position under the saddle.

The quilted pattern and the silver decorative cord give the saddle pad an elegant look.

Does the Relief Pad fit under my saddle?

The memory foam in our Relief saddle pad does not cover the entire length of the saddle. This can lead to misunderstandings and the assumption that the saddle pad is too short and does not fit. However, we can assure you that the saddle pad will fit under almost any saddle as shown in the pictures. The design of the saddle pad is designed to reduce pressure under the front and back of the saddle and to relieve the shoulder region and the lumbar region. This allows the horse to bend better and has more freedom of movement, resulting in improved comfort for the horse.
