The feed industry offers horse owners a wide range of mash products as an addition to existing horse feed. These are all designed in a similar way - they contain bran and are not suitable for daily feeding. AGROBS now offers a completely new form of mash, which is unique in its composition.
The basis of AlpenGrün Mash is Prenatura fibers, which consist primarily of the leaves and seeds of warm-air-dried grasses and herbs. These are characterized by a high content of natural vital substances such as trace elements, vitamins and secondary plant substances. In addition, the Prenatura fibers provide the horse with important, highly digestible crude fiber, which actively promotes intestinal health and the growth of beneficial intestinal bacteria, particularly due to their prebiotic properties. The number of putrefactive bacteria and gas-producing bacteria in the large intestine is thus reduced.
Linseed granules and psyllium seeds contain a high content of mucilage, which coats the stomach and intestinal mucosa with a protective film. They help to maintain healthy, intact mucous membranes, but also to regenerate irritated mucous membranes after illness, medication, worming or stress. The unsaturated fatty acids they also contain have a positive effect on the condition of the skin and fur.
Gently dried beetroot, carrot, apple and parsnip make ALPENGRÜN MASH particularly tasty. Even picky horses will eat it without the addition of molasses. ALPENGRÜN MASH also contains natural vital substances such as secondary plant substances, vitamins and minerals as well as plenty of highly digestible pectins, which in turn are good for healthy intestinal flora. Dried rosehip shells are known for their high vitamin C content - valuable for strengthening the immune system. The digestive effect of fennel and caraway round off ALPENGRÜN MASH.
Due to the conscious omission of grain, bran and molasses, ALPENGRÜN MASH is also suitable for horses with sensitive metabolism and is ideal for daily feeding as well as for use as a treatment (e.g. after colic or during coat change).
